Greetings, my name is Kateryna Mamliuienko. I am 71 years old and I am from the beautiful city of Cherkasy.
I have two children and four grandchildren.
Before the war, I was a primary school teacher, and now I’m retired, take care of my grandson. One of my hobbies, in addition to knitting, was making carnival costumes. I really like to create something unusual.
With the beginning of the war, life was simply turned upside down. When the rocket first arrived in the city, I was desperate, but I firmly decided that I should go to a safer place. And all this time you have to get used to the new reality.
This is my first experience of war, but I hope it will be my last.
I started knitting when I was young. Now I get not only pleasure from the process, but also profit. When knitting, I try to think only positively, so that people wearing my products also have a positive mood!
